MetLife

MetLife Finalist Presentation | MetLife Core Curriculum

Client

MetLife is one of the leading providers of insurance and financial services to millions of individuals and organizations throughout the United States.

Challenge

Create a set of three interactive micro sites to demonstrate MetLife’s technology processes, and to serve as a Finalist Presentation for MetLife to Fortune 500 clients. The presentation is intended to showcase the use of technology both internally within MetLife, and externally through Client administration and Benefits .

Solution

Interactive presentations that combine visual “stories” of MetLife’s technology, and a series of animations that depict the inner workings of the technology systems.

MetLife is one of the leading providers of insurance and financial services to millions of individuals and organizations throughout the United States.

Challenge

Create an interactive website that educates MetLife's members on financial planning, investing and retiring. The website must be a well-organized and accessible source for users with varying ages and incomes.

Solution

An interactive site that takes the viewer through a step-by-step process for each of MetLife's "life tracks." Information is clearly defined and animated so the financial instructions are accessible to all users. An easy-to-use glossary and resource page is also available, to help further educate the user.

INA

Client

INA is New York’s best and most well-known designer consignment store, with five locations in New York City.

Challenge

Establish a web presence for INA, which allows its clientele to learn about the company, follow fashion trends on the INA blog, and shop their stores online.

Solution

Built using an e-commerce content management system, the INA site incorporates company info, online store and blog and allows the client to manage most aspects of the site in-house.

The National Guard is a reserve military force composed of state National Guard militia members under federally recognized active or inactive armed force service for the United States.

Challenge

Design a series of touch-screen Interactives centered around the theme of energy production and consumption for a taveling exhibit for middle school students.

Solution

Development of a visual language that speaks to the target audience and establishes coherence between the Interactives. Completed in partnership with Moey Inc.

Center for Motivation & Change / CMC is a nationally recognized group practice in NYC specializing in the treatment of substance use and compulsive behaviors.

Challenge

Create a web site that reflects the Center’s mission, is inviting and user-friendly, and allows users to navigate through layers of information, choosing to go “deeper” when necessary.

Solution

A web site whose “flowing” navigation and clean, emotive imagery gives a comforting yet information rich experience to the user.

New York Foundation for the Arts

Client

New York Foundation for the Arts gives more support to individual aritsts than any other private organization in the country.

Challenge

Re-design the web site’s graphic interface to update NYFA’s brand image and streamlining of the site content.

Solution

A web site with a stronger visual presence and pared-down color palette. In addition, we worked to create a softer navigational experience, including the addition of several a Flash-based elements.

P.S.1/ Minus Space

Minus Space is a curatorial project based in Brooklyn, New York presenting innovative reductive art.

Challenge

Create an online, animated version of the Poster that was used to further advertise the Exhibition on the Minus Space web site.

Solution

An interactive animation that references the Poster design, and also introduces the artists participating in the show.

Challenge

Create a web site that accurately reflects the firm’s core ideas and position as a leader in the industry.

Solution

A site that combines an emotive opening sequence with clear and concise informational sub-pages. Client testimonials were chosen to convey the integrity and talent of the firm over “boilerplate” descriptive language.

Challenge

Create a web site that will be the main visual identity for the company, utilizing a simple interface that does not sacrifice the accessibility of depth of information, where necessary.

Solution

Bold, simple home page that acts as a company portal, and allows quick access to all relevant information within the larger site.

Gail Blacker, Mosaic Artist

Challenge

Create an online portfolio, which highlights the individuality, care, and detail of each custom-made piece.

Solution

A site which maintains a quiet simplicity in order to exemplify the artist's portfolio, yet still creates interactivity for the viewer by having a comprehensive system of navigation that allows the user to quickly and clearly explore the site.
