We set out to design an identity as minimal and intentional as the work it represents.

We’re proud to share that our visual identity for Minus Space — an internationally recognized gallery dedicated to reductive abstract art — has been honored with a Gold Award in the 2020 Graphis Design Annual. The project is featured on the Graphis Winners Gallery and will be published in the hardcover annual book.

Minus Space is a leading, internationally renowned commercial gallery in Dumbo Brooklyn that represents extraordinary works of abstract art by established and esteemed artists. Since its founding in 2003, Minus Space has been curating, presenting, and selling exceptional works in their accessible and welcoming gallery.

Directors Matthew Deleget and Rossana Martinez asked us to create a new brand identity appropriate to the gallery’s current stature and reach.

In addition to the Graphis recognition, the Minus Space identity also received a 2020 American Graphic Design Award from GDUSA. We're honored that this project — which began with such a simple conceptual shift — continues to be recognized for its impact.

Here is a sneak peek of the new identity and business cards. Coming soon: environmental graphics, and collateral.

Stay tuned for more roll-out of the new Minus Space brand experience coming soon!
